Riders Win at Home 6-2

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders defeated the Waterloo Black Hawks Saturday night at The Stable by a score of 6-2 in the Teddy Bear Toss game.  
 
Aidan McDonough got the Riders on the board first just 4:32 in and the Teddy Bears flooded the ice.  McDonough would score again in the period giving the Riders a 2-0 lead heading to the break. 
 
Waterloo got on the board early in the 2nd period but the Liam Walsh put the Riders back up by two shortly after.   McDonough would complete the hat trick and send the Riders to the 2nd break, leading 4-1. 
 
Jordan Tonelli made it 5-1 Riders 35 seconds into the 3rd period.   Waterloo would get one back before Will Zmolek closed scoring with an empty net goal setting the final score at 6-2.
