PLYMOUTH, Mich. - A split weekend for the RoughRiders taking on U.S. National Under - 18 team with Friday night a close finish with the RoughRiders falling 2-3, but found their groove on Saturday as they took the contest to a 5-2 win, with all 5 goals scored in the 3rd.

Saturday's game remained scoreless for the first 40 minutes as goalie Andrew Pichora IV made monstrous saves, keeping the RoughRiders in the game.

Cedar Rapids had a pair of goals from Jordan Tonelli and Jack O’leary nine seconds apart to take a 2-1 lead, affirming the team's determination to take the win.

Quick goals seemed to be the theme for the RoughRiders as another pair of goals at 17:02 and 17:29 from Tyler Rollwagon and Jackson Jutting. The Roughriders tacked on an empty net goal for the 5-2 final.
