The RoughRiders have acquired forward Zach Faremouth from the Fargo Force in exchange for a 2020 draft selection.

“We are very excited to add Zach to our forward group. He is a well-rounded, experienced, hard-working forward who has the ability to produce offensively. Zach will also add some size, grit and toughness to our team,” said RoughRiders head coach Mark Carlson.

Faremouth, from Jackson Mich., stands six-foot-two inches tall and is committed to Western Michigan University. He played 60 games for the Fargo Force last season and tallied seven goals and three assists. He has played in 23 games for Fargo so far this season, with four goals and eight assists.

The Lumberjacks made it a close game; they subbed goaltenders and scored three goals unanswered in regulation. The tying goal came with just 1:32 left in the third period. Overtime was short and sweet, as Mayarov’s goal, assisted by Sasson and Jack Millar, ended the game with a RoughRiders victory. Goaltender Derek Mullahy stopped 28 of 31 Lumberjack shots on the night.
