Game Summary: January 21, 2005- RoughRiders 3 Green Bay 1
<p>Rob Ricci scored two third period power play goals as the RoughRiders defeated the host Green Bay Gamblers 3-1 Friday night.</p>
<p>The Riders entered the third trailing 1-0 until Ricci tied the score at the 7:52 mark. Brandon Svensdsen skated around Green Bay goaltender Zane Kalemba in the goalmouth only for his backhander to be saved by defenseman Chris Stansik. However, neither Kalemba nor Stansik could prevent Ricci from wristing the rebound home.</p>
<p>Ricci gave the Riders their first lead with another rebound goal at 10:05. Kalemba stopped Alec Martinez’s drive from the left wing circle, but Ricci fired the loose puck home from the slot to put the Riders on top 2-1.</p>
<p>Dan Tormey then kept the Riders in the lead with a series of fine saves until Svendsen finished off the Gamblers with an empty net goal at 18:49.</p>
<p>A second period wraparound goal from Joe Long and acrobatics between the posts from Kalemba- who finished the night with 39 saves- were enough to enable the Gamblers to enter the third on top.</p>
