<p>Alex Stalock made 42 saves and Matt Vokes&#8217; third period power play goal proved to be the game winner as the RoughRiders came from behind to defeat the host Des Moines Buccaneers 4-3 Friday night.</p> <p>The Riders battled back from a 3-1 second period deficit to extend their team record unbeaten streak to 17 straight games (15-0-2). The victory was also the Riders&#8217; eighth in a row on the road, another club record.</p> <p>The Riders took their first lead of the game when Vokes pounced on a loose puck in the left wing circle and fired it home to snap a 3-3 tie at 6:32 of the third.</p> <p>Erik Felde sparked the Rider recovery in the second period when he scored his second goal of the game to cut the Des Moines lead to 3-2. Felde backhanded the puck home from the goalmouth off a Brandon Svendsen feed at the 7:14 mark.</p> <p>The Riders tied the game with just 21 seconds left in the second on a Justin Abdelkader power play goal. Abdelkader tipped Shane Lovdahl&#8217;s drive from the left point past Des Moines goaltender A.J. Bucchino.</p> <p>The Buccaneers had built a two goal lead by scoring twice early in the second. Ryan Raven&#8217;s power play goal just 47 seconds into the period snapped a 1-1 tie. Chad Rau scored from the slot to extend the lead to a pair at 2:26.</p> <p>Stalock&#8217;s strong play kept the Bucs from further increasing their lead. The Rider netminder made 19 saves in the second period alone and 17 more in the third.</p> <p>The Bucs&#8217; first solved Stalock when John McCarthy scored off a give and go with Alex Laseen to open the scoring at 10:48 of the first period. </p> <p>Felde streaked into the goalmouth to beat Bucchino and tie the game at 16:11.</p> <p><a href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=134667" target="_blank">Box Score</a></p>
