Kent Patterson made 26 saves to blank the Sioux City Musketeers as the host RoughRiders rolled to a 3-0 win Friday night.

The Riders grabbed a 1-0 lead at 7:36 of the first period when Casey Wellman buried Ian Slater’s cross-crease pass.

The Riders were on the power play when Robin Bergman tipped in a Scott Mathis feed to double the lead at 13:36 of the second period.

The Riders were again up a man when Doug Jones capped off the win by making it 3-0 with a fine solo rush at 12:42 of the third period.
