RoughRiders Launch Redesigned Web Site
<p>The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders today launched a redesigned web site at www.roughridershockey.com.</p>
<p>“We’re happy to have a new-look, easy-to-navigate site for our fans,” said RoughRiders Vice President of Operations Jim Calpin. “The new www.roughridershockey.com is a great resource- it’s frequently updated and has all the latest information on upcoming RoughRider games, appearances, promotions and a lot more.”</p>
<p>The new site features a brightened, streamlined look designed by Allegiance Marketing Resources.</p>
<p>The redesigned web site goes on line as the RoughRiders prepare to raise the curtain on their sixth United States Hockey League season this Saturday in Des Moines against the Buccaneers. The RoughRiders play their home opener on Saturday, October 16 when they host their arch rivals, the defending Clark Cup champion Waterloo Black Hawks.</p>
<p>2004-05 season tickets are currently available through the RoughRiders’ business office (247-0340). In addition to their seats, season ticket holders receive a host of exclusive benefits.</p>
<p>Over their first five seasons, the Riders have secured a place as one of the top organizations in the United States Hockey League. The RoughRiders are one of just three teams to have reached the USHL playoffs each of the last four seasons and last year set a franchise record for wins in a season. The Riders are also annually among the league leaders in attendance, frequently drawing sellout crowds to the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.</p>
