Christmas Greenery Weekend - Friday And Saturday - $1000 In Cash and Prizes To Be Given Away
<p>December 14, 2004- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will give away $1,000 in cash and prizes to fans wearing green at the Riders’ home games this Friday and Saturday as part of the team’s Christmas Greenery Weekend.</p>
<p>The Riders host the Des Moines Buccaneers Friday night and the Sioux City Musketeers Saturday evening. Both games start at 7:05PM.</p>
<p>Fans dressed in green will have the chance to earn some green at this weekend’s games- cash prizes ranging from $1 to $100 and a host of other prizes, including green RoughRiders merchandise.</p>
<p>Tickets for this weekend’s games- and the rest of the RoughRiders’ remaining home games- are now on sale at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or in person at the ice arena. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $8.00 to $17.00 including a 50-cent facility fee. </p>
<p>The RoughRiders (17-3-3, 37 points) are in first place in the United States Hockey League’s East Division. The Riders have gone unbeaten in regulation (10-0-2) in their last twelve games to set a new team record.</p> |
