The host Sioux City Musketeers scored four unanswered goals on the way to a 4-1 win over the RoughRiders Friday night.
The Musketeers scored three second period goals to take command of the game.
Sioux City trailed 1-0 until Ben Kinne’s drive was deflected past Rider goaltender Brady Hjelle (38 saves) 26 seconds into the second.
The Musketeers took the lead while on the power play when Spencer Heichman jammed in a rebound at 6:23.
At the 13:05 mark Joe Miller swept another rebound home to extend the lead to 3-1.
Travis Oleksuk capped off the win for the Musketeers by pouncing on a loose puck at the side of the net at 7:12 of the third period.
The Riders were on the power play when Scott Mathis scored the only goal of the first period with a blast from the blue line 9:29 into the game.
