<p>Jordan Pietrus broke a 1-1 tie with the first of three unanswered third period goals for the RoughRiders as the Riders defeated the host Sioux Falls Stampede 4-1 Saturday night.</p> <p>The Riders are now unbeaten in regulation (10-0-2) in a team record twelve straight games.</p> <p>Pietrus skated in alone to give the Riders a 2-1 lead at 8:15 of the third period.</p> <p>Shane Lovdahl provided an insurance goal at 15:55 with the Riders on the power play. Lovdahl blasted a shot from the blue line past Sioux Falls goaltender Greg Barrett.</p> <p>Erik Felde&#8217;s empty net goal with just over two seconds left capped the win.</p> <p>The Stampede scored the only goal of the second period despite being outshot 15-4 in the second. Rider goaltender Dan Tormey stopped Andrew Carroll&#8217;s initial bid from the goalmouth, but Carroll tucked the rebound home on the backhand at 2:37 of the second.</p> <p>The Riders had taken a 1-0 lead when Justin Abdelkader jammed home a Brandon Svendsen centering pass with 36 seconds left in the first period.</p> <p><a href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=134645" target="_blank">Box Score</a></p>
