Cedar Rapids RoughRiders game worn uniform jerseys will go up for bid in an online auction beginning Wednesday night at 7:00PM, the RoughRiders announced today. Two sets of jerseys worn by the Riders during the 2006-07 season will be available in the auction.

The RoughRiders have teamed up with ScoreBid to hold the online auction, which will run for ten days. The jersey auction can be accessed through the ScoreBid link on the Riders’ web site, www.roughridershockey.com. Fans will be able to bid on both the RoughRiders’ white jerseys and the Riders’ special edition black third jerseys. Minimum bid is $125. Bids can be made using a major credit card.

The RoughRiders just completed their eighth season in Cedar Rapids, having posted the second best regular season record (37-18-5, 79 points) in team history and reached the second round of the United States Hockey League’s Clark Cup playoffs for the third straight year and the fifth time in the last six years.
