Game Summary: December 4, 2004- RoughRiders 4 Indiana 1
<p>Matt Vokes had one goal and two assists and the RoughRiders extended their winning streak to five games with a 4-1 victory over the host Indiana Ice Saturday night.</p>
<p>Rider forward Jon Grabarek had two assists to set a new team career point scoring record. Zach Miskovic also etched his name in team history simply by suiting up and taking to the ice. The win over the Ice was his one hundred fortieth consecutive game played for the Riders, the longest such streak in club history.</p>
<p>Vokes scored the Riders’ first goal and helped set up the next two.</p>
<p>The Riders were on the power play when Vokes shifted past Indiana defenseman Tristan Llewellyn in the right wing circle and wristed the puck past Indiana goaltender Jake Maida to open the scoring at 9:47 of the first period.</p>
<p>With an assist on the Vokes goal, Grabarek moved into first place in team history with 98 career points.</p>
<p>The Riders would double their lead late in the first as Alec Martinez swept a backhander home from the left wing circle to make the score 2-0 just 1:17 before the intermission.</p>
<p>Indiana’s Colin Vock buried a rebound at 7:18 of the second period to cut the Rider lead to 2-1, but the Riders would put the game away in the third period.</p>
<p>Justin Abdelkader put the Riders back in front by a pair just 27 seconds into the third. Abdelkader converted a Vokes centering pass from the goalmouth to make it 3-1.</p>
<p>Shane Lovdahl scored the Riders second power play goal of the night at 7:52 of the third when he blasted a shot from the right point past Maida.</p>
<p>Alex Stalock (23 saves) did not give up an even strength goal while earning the win in goal for the Riders.</p>
