IN<o:p></o:p> The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have won four straight games and are unbeaten in regulation in their last eight (7-0-1).  <o:p></o:p> The Riders are six points ahead of the second place Chicago Steel in the race for the top spot in the East Division.  The Riders have three games in hand on <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Chicago</st1:City></st1:place>.  <o:p></o:p> The Riders also boast the USHL’s best winning percentage (.789) and are three points behind the West Division-leading Omaha Lancers in the race for first place overall.<o:p></o:p> The Riders won three games in four days last week.  The Riders dropped the Waterloo Black Hawks 6-2 on home ice last Wednesday, won 2-1 in a shootout last Thursday in <st1:City w:st="on">Waterloo</st1:City> and shutout <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Indiana</st1:State></st1:place> 3-0 last Saturday.<o:p></o:p> The Riders’ offense is the second most potent in the USHL, averaging 3.89 goals per game, just .01 behind league-leading <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Omaha</st1:City></st1:place>. <o:p></o:p> After giving up just four goals in their last four games and surrendering two or fewer in five of their last six, the Riders have climbed to third in the league in goals allowed per game (2.68).<o:p></o:p> The Riders will hit the road this weekend after going unbeaten in regulation (6-0-1) in their last seven home games.  On the season the Riders are <st1:date w:st="on" Month="7" Day="1" Year="2001">7-1-1</st1:date> on home ice- the second best home record in the USHL.<o:p></o:p> The Riders will try to continue their dominance over East Division opposition this weekend.  The Riders have gone 13-1 on the season against divisional opponents and are unbeaten in regulation (7-0-1) in their last eight games against foes from the east.<o:p></o:p> The Riders’ Jon Grabarek remains tied for the team career point scoring record (97).  Grabarek, who has gone pointless in his last four games, will set a new record with his next goal or assist.<o:p></o:p> <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Indiana</st1:State></st1:place> lost three games in as many nights last weekend, has gone winless (0-4-1) in its last five outings and has picked up just one victory in its last nine games (<st1:date w:st="on" Month="1" Day="7" Year="2001">1-7-1</st1:date>).<o:p></o:p> The Ice fell 5-2 last Friday in <st1:City w:st="on">Chicago</st1:City>, was shutout by the Riders last Saturday and dropped a tight one 4-3 yesterday in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Green Bay</st1:City></st1:place>.<o:p></o:p> Indiana’s Todd McIlrath and Tomas Klempa are among the top offensive duos in the USHL.  McIlrath (<st1:date w:st="on" Month="8" Day="18" Year="2026">8-18-26</st1:date>) is tied for the league lead in assists and ranks fourth in points.  Klempa (<st1:date w:st="on" Month="9" Day="13" Year="2022">9-13-22</st1:date>) is tied for sixth in the league in points.<o:p></o:p> McIlrath and Klempa notwithstanding, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Indiana</st1:State></st1:place> has been shutout twice in its last four games and now Matt Vokes scored twice in twenty-two seconds in the first period and also had an assist as the Riders rolled.  The Riders’ attack was as balanced as it was potent as Jordan Pietrus, Phil Axtell, Brandon Svendsen and Billy Loupee had one goal apiece and Justin Abdelkader and Zach Miskovic both had a pair of assists.  <o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Thursday, November 25: <st1:City w:st="on">Cedar <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Waterloo</st1:City></st1:place> shootout chances after Matt Vokes had scored the Riders’ only goal of regulation.  Stalock made 29 saves in regulation and Tormey made 27 saves while shutting out the Ice.  Tormey was at his busiest in the third period (11 saves).  The line of Jordan Pietrus (one goal, one assist), Ted Purcell (one goal, one assist) and
