Kent Patterson made 28 saves and Jacob Cepis scored the game’s only goal as the RoughRiders shutout the host Lincoln Stars 1-0 Tuesday night.

The Riders were on the power play when Cepis buried a rebound at 16:25 of the first period.

That goal proved to be all the support Patterson needed. The Riders goaltender was at his best in the third period, stopping 13 Lincoln shots over the final 20 minutes.
