Game Summary: November 20, 2004- RoughRiders 5 Tri-City 1
<P>Justin Abdelkader scored two goals and added two assists and Greg Collins also scored twice and picked one assist as the host RoughRiders defeated the Tri-City Storm 5-1 Saturday night.</P>
<P>Dan Tormey made 27 saves to earn the win in goal.</P>
<P>The Riders ripped off five unanswered goals after Mario Lamoureux gave the Storm a 1-0 lead at 5:55 of the first period. </P>
<P>Shane Lovdahl tied it at one with a 5-on-3 power play goal at 18:43 of the first. Lovdahl blasted the puck under the cross bar from the high slot.</P>
<P>The Riders took their first lead of the night when Collins scored on a breakaway at 4:24 of the second period.</P>
<P>Abdelkader extended the advantage to 3-1 at 8:21 of the second just after the end of a Rider power play. Tri-City goaltender Nick Hopper stopped Abdelkader’s first bid from the doorstep, but Abdelkader backhanded the rebound home.</P>
<P>Collins scored his second goal off a goalmouth scramble to make it 4-1 Riders at 12:49 of the second.</P>
<P>Abdelkader quashed any Tri-City third period comeback hopes when he scored his second just 26 seconds into the period. Collins jammed the puck in front from behind the net and Abdelkader beat Hopper with a backhander.</P>
