RoughRiders Deal Grun to Sioux Falls

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have traded forward David Grun to the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2007 United States Hockey League draft, the RoughRiders announced today.

Grun, 18, did not record a point in two games with the RoughRiders this season. The White Bear Lake, Minnesota, native posted a plus/minus rating of +3 for the Riders.

Grun could well make his Stampede debut against Cedar Rapids as the Riders (2-1-0, 4 points) return to action tomorrow night in Sioux Falls. The Riders will finish the weekend on home ice when they welcome the Tri-City Storm to the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena at 7:05 Saturday evening.

Tickets for all remaining RoughRider regular season home games- including Saturday night’s- are now on sale. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
