October 12, 2006- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders’ games against the Chicago Steel tomorrow night and Saturday night will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis on AM-1360 The Fan immediately following the conclusion of the St. Louis Cardinals’ National League Championship Series games against the New York Mets.
The radio broadcast of the Riders’ game against the Steel tomorrow night in Bensenville, Illinois will begin after game three of the Cardinals-Mets series. The baseball game starts at 7:05PM. Saturday night’s rematch between the Riders and Steel in Cedar Rapids will air following game four of the NLCS, which also starts at 7:05PM.
Fans will be able watch or listen to this weekend’s RoughRiders games live via webcast at www.roughridershockey.com. The free audio webcast of Friday night’s game will begin at 7:30; Saturday evening’s audio webcast starts at 7:00.
The RoughRiders and B2 Networks also team up to offer live pay-per-view video webcasts of all RoughRiders games, including this weekend’s contests. The video webcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or cable modem internet connection. The charge for video webcasts is $6 per game. Video webcasts can be accessed beginning approximately 15 minutes before the start of each game- around 7:20PM this Friday and at about 6:50PM this Saturday.
This Saturday’s game is the second of five straight Saturday home dates for the RoughRiders. Tickets for all RoughRiders home games- including Saturday’s- can be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days, including tomorrow. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
