RoughRiders’ Game Worn Jersey Auction Opens Tomorrow Night
<p>April 17, 2006- Cedar Rapids RoughRiders game worn uniform jerseys will go up for bid in an on line auction beginning tomorrow night at 9:00PM, the RoughRiders announced today. The jerseys worn by the Riders during the 2005-06 season will all be available in the auction.</p>
<p>The RoughRiders have teamed up with EasyBids to hold the on-line auction, which will run for ten days. The jersey auction can be accessed through the EasyBids link on the Riders’ web site, www.roughridershockey.com. Bids can also be made over the phone by calling Easy Bids at (319) 393-7955 or in person at the Cedar Rapids EasyBids drop-off store located at 1961 Blairs Ferry Road NE. Minimum bid is $125. Bids on the jerseys can be made using a major credit card. </p>
<p>All three sets of the Riders’ 2005-06 jerseys will go up for bid- the white and green jerseys featuring the standard double R RoughRider logos as well as the green third jersey with the classic RoughRider horse logo.</p>
<p>The RoughRiders just completed their seventh season in Cedar Rapids, earning a second straight East Division championship and reaching the semi-finals of the United States Hockey League’s Clark Cup playoffs for the second straight year and the fourth time in the last five years.</p> |
