Game Summary: April 12, 2006- RoughRiders 1 Des Moines 3

<p>April 12, 2006- The host Des Moines Buccaneers built a 3-0 lead and went on to defeat the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 3-1 Wednesday night in game two of the East Division finals and take a two games to none lead in the best-of-five series.</p> <p>The Bucs scored the opener just 3:33 into the game when Aaron Palushaj deflected Bobby Reiners&#8217; drive from the blue line past Rider goaltender Al Stalock (42 saves).</p> <p>The Bucs got what would prove to be the game winning goal with just 61 seconds left in the first period. Jeff Petry&#8217;s shot from the right point was tipped home by Kyle Okposo.</p> <p>At 9:23 of the second period, Des Moines was on the power play when Aaron Bendickson scored the Bucs&#8217; third from the doorstep.</p> <p>Chad Costello got the Riders on the scoreboard just over three minutes later. Costello darted into the goalmouth to steer an Andy Miele centering pass between the pads of Des Moines goaltender Troy Davenport and cut the Bucs&#8217; lead to 3-1.</p> <p>The Riders, however, ware unable to solve Davenport again as the veteran goalkeeper stopped a total of 39 Cedar Rapids shots.</p> <P><A href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=305972" target=_blank>Box Score</A></P>
