<p>April 6, 2006- Gary Steffes scored at 3:27 of overtime to give the RoughRiders a 3-2 win over the host Indiana Ice Thursday night in game four of the best-of-five East Division semi-finals and force a fifth and deciding game Saturday night at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.</p>
<p>Steffes tied the series at two wins apiece by burying a Jordan Pietrus centering pass for his second goal of the night.</p>
<p>Steffes had briefly given the Riders a 2-1 third period lead when he ripped a slap shot past Indiana goaltender Steve Jakiel (42 saves) at 6:40 of the third.</p>
<p>Just one minute and twenty one seconds later, the Ice bounced back to even the score on Garrett Roe’s second goal of the night. Roe tipped the puck in from the doorstep to knot the game at two.</p>
<p>Rider goaltender Al Stalock was often spectacular in keeping the Ice to just one third period goal. Stalock made 18 saves in the third period alone and stopped 39 shots on the night.</p>
<p>It was the Ice who first jumped in front at 2:20 of the second period on Roe’s shorthanded breakaway goal.</p>
<p>The Riders rebounded with a Phil Axtell power play goal at 6:20 of the second. Axtell tipped Ted Purcell’s wrist shot past Jakiel to tie the score at one.</p>
