Game Summary: March 5, 2006- RoughRiders 1 Sioux Falls 4
<p>March 5, 2006- Andreas Nodl scored one goal and picked up two assists to lead the host Sioux Falls Stampede to a 4-1 win over the RoughRiders Sunday night.</p>
<p>Nodl set up Casey Parenteau for the game’s opening goal at 13:50 of the first period.</p>
<p>Just one minute and thirty-five seconds later, the Riders rebounded to tie score at one with a shorthanded goal. Gary Steffes charged into the right wing circle and snapped the puck past Sioux Falls goaltender Alex Kangas (19 saves) at the 15:25 mark of the first.</p>
<p>The Stampede quickly responded as Ben Holmstrom put Sioux Falls on top for good at 17:20 of the first. Holmstrom swept the puck home from the doorstep to give Stampede the 2-1 lead.</p>
<p>The Riders were down a man when Nodl extended the advantage to 3-1 at 16:15 of the second period with a wrist shot from the right wing circle.</p>
<p>Mark Magnowksi scored off a 2-on-1 rush with Nodl at 10:33 of the third period to cap off the win for Stampede.</p>
