Game Summary: February 10, 2006- RoughRiders 3 Tri-City 4

<p>February 10, 2006- Brett Watson scored with 26.8 seconds left in regulation to give the Tri-City Storm a come-from-behind 4-3 win over the host RoughRiders Friday night.</p> <p>Watson snapped a the puck home under the cross bar from the left wing circle to cap off a rally that saw Tri-City come all the way back from a 3-0 deficit.</p> <p>The Riders took a 3-1 lead into the third period, but the Storm&#8217;s Jaroslav Markovic converted a pair of Jared Palmer feeds in a span of just under four minutes to even the score at three. Markovic first buried a wrist shot from the right wing circle to narrow the gap to 3-2 at the 3:37 of the third and then evened the score by jamming the puck home from the doorstep at the 7:29 mark.</p> <p>Brett Gorman had started the Storm rally with a rebound goal at 9:28 of the second period started.</p> <p>Up until then, the Riders had encountered nary a bump in the road while scoring the game&#8217;s first three goals. </p> <p>Cedar Rapids opened the scoring at 7:41 of the first period when Tri-City goaltender Aaron Rock (20 saves) stopped a Phil Axtell shot only see the rebound carom in off of the Storm&#8217;s Jared Palmer.</p> <p>The Riders were on the power play when David Strathman wired a wrister over Rock&#8217;s shoulder to make it 2-0 at 15:41 of the first.</p> <p>4:31 into the second period, the Riders stretched the lead to three. Chad Costello cut in front and lifted the puck home off the underside of the crossbar finish off a nifty give-and-go with Ted Purcell.</p> <p>The Riders would succumb to the Storm rally despite a strong 44 save effort from Cedar Rapids netminder Pat McGann. </p> <P><A href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=232640" target=_blank>Box Score</A></P>
