Game Summary: February 4, 2006- RoughRiders 2 Sioux City 6

<p>February 4, 2006- Kyle Folmer scored three goals and added one assist to lead the Sioux City Musketeers to a convincing 6-2 win over the host RoughRiders Saturday night.</p> <p>Folmer got the Musketeers off to a dream start by scoring just eight seconds into the game. Folmer tipped the puck off the stick of Rider defenseman David Strathman and in past Cedar Rapids goaltender Al Stalock (33 saves) to put Sioux City up 1-0 before many of the fans had chance to take their seats.</p> <p>The Musketeers were on the power play when Phillip DeSimone shoveled the puck home from the doorstep to make it 2-0 at 8:41 of the second.</p> <p>Ian Slater tipped in a Brett Dickinson drive to get the RoughRiders on the scoreboard at the 10:13 mark of the second.</p> <p>The Musketeers, however, would break the game open with three straight second period goals. Just 31 seconds into the second the Muskies stretched the lead to 3-1 when Dustin Gazely steered the puck over the goal line after Steve Kampfer&#8217;s shot broke through Stalock&#8217;s pads.</p> <p>DeSimone turned a shorthanded breakaway into his second goal of the night at the 3:44 mark.</p> <p>At 17:12 of the second, Follmer swept a Dustin Gazely feed in from the side of the net to extend the Sioux City advantage to 5-1.</p> <p>The Riders finally had something to cheer about in the second period when Chad Costello stuffed a rebound past Sioux City netminder Jerry Kuhn (36 saves) with just over 14 seconds left in the middle frame.</p> <p>Follmer completed his hat trick early in the third period by firing a shot from the high slot just inside the goal post during a Musketeer power play.</p> <P><A href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=232636" target=_blank>Box Score</A></P>
