Game Summary: January 31, 2006- RoughRiders 0 Tri-City 3

<p>January 31, 2006- Aaron Rock stopped all 15 Cedar Rapids shots and Matt Amroz scored a pair of goals as the host Tri-City Storm shut out the RoughRiders 3-0 Tuesday night.</p> <p>Ambroz scored what would prove to be the game-winning goal just 3:52 into the first period. The second year forward buried the rebound after Rider goaltender Pat McGann (24 saves) knocked down Mark Bernier&#8217;s drive from the right point.</p> <p>In the second period, McGann kept the Riders within striking distance with a series of superb saves. In fact, the Riders nearly tied the score at one when Andy Miele rang a shot of the post in the final seconds of the period.</p> <p>The Storm would finally extend the lead to 2-0 with a power play goal at 18:03 of the third period. Mario Lamoureux backhanded a rebound home to provide the late insurance goal.</p> <p>After the Riders pulled McGann for an extra attacker, Ambroz capped off the Storm win with an empty net goal in the final minute.</p> <p><a href=http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=232627 target="_blank">Box Score</a></p>
