Game Summary: January 28, 2006- RoughRiders 1 Indiana 4
<p>January 28, 2006- Cody Reichert made 42 saves and the Indiana Ice scored two goals on the power play and one shorthanded on the way to a 4-1 win over the host RoughRiders Saturday night.</p>
<p>The Ice jumped out to a 2-0 lead less than seven minutes into the game. John Kemp opened the scoring at 4:08 of the first with what would prove to be the only even strength goal of the night. Kemp tipped in an Eric Olimb drive to make it 1-0.</p>
<p>The Ice was on the power play when Eddie Del Grosso's blue line blast extended the lead to 2-0 at 6:57.</p>
<p>The Riders cut the Ice lead to 2-1 at 13:18 of the first with a power play of their own. Kevin Wehrs ripped the puck past Reichert from the middle of the blue line.</p>
<p>The Ice, however, would take control in the second period by scoring a pair of goals just 38 seconds apart. Ryan Scott banged a John Kemp centering pass into the open net at the 5:21 mark to reestablish the two-goal lead. </p>
<p>The Riders were up a man when Jay Sprague snapped the puck in off of Cedar Rapids goaltender Al Stalock (36 saves) from the right wing circle to make it 4-1.</p>
<p>The Riders would pepper Reichert with 20 shots in the third period, but were unable to solve the Indiana netminder a second time.</p>
