Game Summary: November 12, 2005- RoughRiders 0 Sioux Falls 4
<p>November 12, 2005- Drew Akens scored two goals and picked up one assist and Alex Kangas made 29 saves as the Sioux Falls Stampede shut out the host RoughRiders 4-0 Saturday night.</p>
<p>It was Akens who snapped a scoreless deadlock at 9:11 of the first period by steering a Casey Parenteau centering pass home from close range.</p>
<p>Just under three minutes later the Stampede doubled the lead with a power play gaol. Jake Bauer's made it 2-0 with a blue line blast.</p>
<p>Andreas Nodl scored the third Sioux Falls goal at 1:32 of the third period to quash any lingering Rider comeback hopes. Nodl charged into the goalmouth and lifted the puck under the cross bar.</p>
<p>The Stampede was on the power play once more when Akens struck again at 11:16 of the third. The first year forward batted the puck out of mid air and into the back of the net to make it 4-0.</p>
