Game Summary: November 11, 2005- RoughRiders 4 Sioux City 1
<p>November 11, 2005- The host RoughRiders scored three first period goals and went on to defeat the Sioux City Musketeers 4-1 Friday night.</p>
<p>The Riders jumped in front just over two minutes into the game when Gary Steffes ripped the puck home from the slot. </p>
<p>With just under five minutes gone in the first, the Riders extended the lead to 2-0 while on the power play. Steven Kaunisto's blue line blast was deflected just wide of the net, but the Riders' Nik Sellers followed up to jam the puck in from the side of the cage.</p>
<p>The Musketeers briefly grabbed the momentum when Spencer Heichman cut the Rider lead to 2-1 at with a power play goal 18:38 of the first.</p>
<p>The Riders, however bounced back to take control of the game for good with just over 12 seconds left in the period. Jacob Cepis wristed the puck past Sioux City goaltender Eddie Wheeler from the top of the right wing circle to reestablish the two goal lead.</p>
<p>Chad Costello made it 4-1 at 4:26 of the second period by converting a Ted Purcell centering pass. </p>
<p>The Musketeers replaced Wheeler with Phil Tetzlaff after the Costello goal, but by then the damage had already been done. The Riders ran into no such problems in goal as Al Stalock made 31 saves for Cedar Rapids.</p>
