Game Summary: November 4, 2005- RoughRiders 4 Omaha 2
<p>November 4, 2005- Aaron Bendickson scored the tying and winning goals and Pat McGann made 36 saves as the RoughRiders came from behind in the third period to defeat the host Omaha Lancers 4-2 Friday night.</p>
<p>The Riders trailed 2-1 until Bendickson ripped the puck over the shoulder of Omaha goaltender Michael Spillane from the top of the left wing circle at 8:01 of the third. </p>
<p>Bendickson put the Riders up 3-2 with just under four and a half minutes remaining in regulation. The first year forward cut into the Omaha goalmouth and swept the puck under Spillane for the tie-breaking goal.</p>
<p>Ted Purcell's empty net goal in the final minute finished off the Lancers.</p>
<p>The Lancers took the lead into the third after Tony Lucia snapped a 1-1 deadlock at 4:14 of the second period. Lucia buried the rebound after McGann stopped Matt Moulakelis's initial bid.</p>
<p>The teams swapped first period goals. The Riders took a 1-0 lead 8:36 into the game on Chad Costello's break away goal. The Lancers responded when Matt Schepke fired the puck home from the slot at 13:12.</p>
