Fireworks Follow RoughRiders Game Saturday
<p>October 19, 2005- A fireworks display outside the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena will follow the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders' game against the Chicago Steel Saturday night.</p>
<p>The explosive action on the ice begins at 7:05PM as the RoughRiders host the Steel for the first time this season. The first of three post game fireworks displays this season will begin immediately after the end of the game.</p>
<p>Fireworks will also light up the sky following the Riders' December 29 game against the Green Bay Gamblers and their March 18 tilt with the Lincon Stars.</p>
<p>This Saturday's game is the second half of a weekend home-and-home series between the RoughRiders and Steel. The two teams will meet in Bensenville, Illinois Friday evening.</p>
<p>The RoughRiders (5-1-0, 10 points) have won four straight games and are tied for first place overall in the United States Hockey League. This Saturday's game is the third of four straight Saturday home dates for the RoughRiders.</p>
<p>Tickets for all RoughRiders home games- including Saturday's- can be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at www.roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days, including tomorrow. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 including a 50-cent facility fee.</p> |
