RoughRiders' Mascot Night Saturday
<P>October 13, 2005- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will host their second annual Mascot Night this Saturday night when the RoughRiders take on the Sioux City Musketeers at 7:05 at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.</P>
<P>There will be more fun for the whole family as Ricochet, the Riders' fun-loving equine mascot, welcomes fellow mascots from all over eastern Iowa for an evening of zany antics.</P><BR>
<P>Among the mascots scheduled to appear Saturday night are McGruff the Crime Dog, Mr. Shucks of the Cedar Rapids Kernels, Scoopie the Culver's mascot, Aspen Athletic Club's Moose and a host of others.</P><P>The highlight of the evening will be what will no doubt be a hotly contested mascot soccer game on the ice during the first intermission.</P>
<P>The RoughRiders (4-1-0, 8 points) head into the weekend in first place overall in the United States Hockey League. This Saturday's game is the second of four straight Saturday home dates for the RoughRiders.</P>
<P>Tickets for all RoughRiders home games- including Saturday's- can be purchased in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or on line at <A href="">www.roughridershockey.com</A>. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days, including tomorrow. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 including a 50-cent facility fee.</P> |
