RoughRiders Featured on MediaCom’s Brooks on Sports Tonight at 7:30PM
<p>May 31, 2005- The Clark Cup Champion Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will be featured on the June edition of Brooks on Sports on Mediacom Connections channel 22. June’s Brooks on Sports premieres tonight at 7:30PM and will be repeated throughout the month. </p>
<p>Brooks on Sports, hosted by Iowa broadcast legend Bob Brooks, will review the RoughRiders’ thrilling run to the 2005 United States Hockey League Clark Cup title. The program will feature highlights of the Riders’ drive to the cup and interviews with Riders coach and general manager Mark Carlson- the 2005 United States Hockey League Coach of the Year- and RoughRider players Zach Miskovic, Brandon Svendsen and Matt Vokes. Mediacom Connections is available to all Cedar Rapids Mediacom cable and digital subscribers.</p>
<p>The RoughRiders defeated the Sioux City Musketeers three games to two in the Clark Cup finals earlier this month to claim the first league title in the Riders’ six-year history. The Riders also claimed a share of the 2004-05 USHL Anderson Cup (regular season) title, another first for the organization. </p> |
