RoughRiders Host Game Five of Clark Cup Finals Tomorrow Night; Tickets on Sale Today and Tomorrow
<p>May 8, 2005- Tickets for tomorrow night’s fifth and deciding game of the United States Hockey League Clark Cup finals between the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and Sioux City Musketeers will be on sale today and tomorrow at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office. </p>
<p>Tickets for the game, which faces off at 7:05PM, are available from noon to 4:00PM today and from 11:00AM through the end of the second period tomorrow. Tickets can be purchased in person at the ice arena or over the phone at (319) 261-4625. Ticket prices range from $9 to $18. </p>
<p>The RoughRiders and Musketeers split the first four games of the best-of-five series. The Musketeers forced a fifth game by evening the series at two games apiece with a 2-1 overtime win on home ice last night in game four. The Riders had taken a two games to one series lead with a 4-3 overtime victory of their own on Thursday evening in Sioux City.</p>
<p>The Clark Cup is symbolic of supremacy in American junior hockey and is presented annually to the playoff champions of the USHL, the nation’s only Tier I junior league. A win tomorrow night would give the RoughRiders’ the first Clark Cup title in the team’s six year history. </p> |
