Game Summary: April 9, 2005- RoughRiders 6 Indiana 2
<p>The host RoughRiders rolled to a 6-2 win over the Indiana Ice Saturday night to take a two games to none lead in a best-of-five opening round playoff series.</p>
<p>The Riders can complete a sweep of the Ice with a victory in game three Tuesday night in Indianapolis.</p>
<p>Saturday evening, the Riders ripped off five straight goals before the Ice got on the scoreboard for the first time.</p>
<p>Gary Steffes buried a rebound to give the Riders a 1-0 lead at 8:55 of the first period.</p>
<p>The Riders were on the power play when Zach Miskovic drove the puck home from the right point to make it 2-0 at 14:26 of the first.</p>
<p>Matt Vokes scored twice in a span of just 31 seconds to break the game open in the second period.</p>
<p>Vokes extended the lead to 3-0 when he fired the puck under the crossbar at 5:22 of the second.</p>
<p>Just over a half minute later, Vokes slipped a rebound under Indiana goaltender James Kohout to give the Riders a four goal lead.</p>
<p>Jon Grabarek delivered number five for Cedar Rapids, sweeping the puck home from the slot at 10:31 of the second.</p>
<p>The Ice finally responded while on a two man advantage late in the second. Tomas Klempa wristed the puck past Rider goaltender Alex Stalock (41 saves) from the right wing circle with just 1:20 left in the period.</p>
<p>Klempa struck again with a drive from the high slot just 38 seconds into the third period.</p>
<p>Rob Ricci jammed a rebound past Kohout at 3:10 of the third to cap off the Rider win.</p>
