Game Summary: April 1, 2005- RoughRiders 4 Green Bay 1
<p>The RoughRiders scored three first period goals and cruised to a 4-1 win over the host Green Bay Gamblers Friday night.</p>
<p>The Riders jumped in front 1-0 when Erik Felde charged into the goalmouth to bury a Gary Steffes centering pass at 7:10 of the first period.</p>
<p>Alec Martinez doubled the lead with a power play goal at 13:03 of the first. Martinez buried the rebound after Green Bay goaltender Daniel Rosen stopped Rob Ricci’s drive from the slot.</p>
<p>With just 19.8 seconds left in the period, Jordan Pietrus crashed the net and converted a centering feed from Ted Purcell.</p>
<p>Mark Magnowski snuck the puck between the pads of Rider goaltender Dan Tormey (34 saves) to get Green Bay on the scoreboard at 12:05 of the second period.</p>
<p>The Riders responded just under four minutes later, however, when Greg Collins extended the Cedar Rapids lead to 4-1.</p>
