<P>Justin Abdelkader scored two goals as the RoughRiders defeated the host Sioux Falls Stampede 3-1 Wednesday night.</P> <P>With the win, the Riders set team records for most victories (35) and points (75) in a season.</P> <P>Abdelkader gave the Riders a 1-0 lead with a power play goal at 9:22 of the first period. Abdelkader tipped in a Ted Purcell shot for his twentieth goal of the season.</P> <P>The Riders extended the lead to 2-0 when they converted on their fifth power play of the second period. Rob Ricci fired the puck home from the right wing circle at 17:11 for what was also his twentieth goal of the season.</P> <P>At 5:19 of the third period the Stampede cut the Riders' lead in half with a power play goal of their own. Tom Gorowsky steered a Blake Friesen feed under Rider goaltender Alex Stalock (21 saves) from the side of the net.</P> <P>Abdelkader clinched the win for the Riders with an empty net goal in the final minute.</P> <P><A href=http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=134780 target=_blank >Box Score</A></P>
