Game Summary: February 26, 2005- RoughRiders 3 Green Bay 1

<p>Dan Tormey made 48 saves as the RoughRiders clinched the first division title in team history with a 3-1 win over the host Green Bay Gamblers Saturday night.</p> <p>The RoughRiders locked up the United States Hockey League&#8217;s East Division with better than a month remaining in the regular season. The Riders had finished second in the east each of the prior four years.</p> <p>With the win, the Riders also tied team records for most wins (34) and points (73) in a season.</p> <p>Tormey made 19 saves in the first period alone as the Riders emerged from the first with a 2-1 lead despite being outshot 20-14.</p> <p>Matt Vokes weaved off the left wing boards, around a pair of checkers and into the goalmouth to score the game&#8217;s opening goal at 5:38 of the first.</p> <p>Mark Magnowski tucked the puck in from the side of the net to tie the score at one just over three minutes later.</p> <p>At 15:12 of the first, the Riders regained the lead for good while on the power play. Brandon Svendsen one-timed a Rob Ricci centering pass past Rosen to break the tie.</p> <p>The Riders nursed the one goal lead deep into the third period. The Riders finally got some insurance when Jon Grabarek took a Vokes feed and shoveled it home while cutting across the goalmouth to make it 3-1 with seven minutes left in the game.</p> <p><a href="http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/boxscore.html?gameid=134776" target="_blank">Box Score</a></p>
