Game Summary: February 19, 2005- Lincoln 6 RoughRiders 4
<p>Brock Trotter scored the game winning goal with just 1:21 left in the third period as the Lincoln Stars survived a furious RoughRider rally to claim a wild 6-4 win Saturday night at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.</p>
<p>Trotter redirected the puck in for his second goal of the night a scant 59 seconds after Alec Martinez tied the game at four with the Riders’ third goal in a span of just over five minutes. </p>
<p>Erik Condra’s scored his second goal of the night on an empty net with just under a minute remaining to finish off the Riders.</p>
<p>Martinez’s goal completed the Riders’ comeback from a 4-1 deficit.</p>
<p>Martinez fired the puck home from the slot to- briefly- tie the score.</p>
<p>Brandon Svendsen’s shorthanded goal had narrowed the Lincoln lead to 4-3 at 14:58 of the third. Svendsen buried an Erik Felde centering pass from the doorstep.</p>
<p>Rob Ricci sparked the Rider comeback at 12:36 when he swept the puck past Pearce from the top of the left wing circle for the second Cedar Rapids goal of the night.</p>
<p>Ricci scored just one minute, seven seconds after Trotter tipped the puck behind Rider goaltender Alex Stalock to give the Stars a seemingly comfortable 4-1 lead.</p>
<p>That goal, in turn, had come one minute, forty seconds after Taylor Razska steered the puck under Stalock to extend the Lincoln advantage to 3-1.</p>
<p>The Riders trailed 2-0 after one period, but got on the scoreboard when Felde converted a Hunter Bishop centering feed at 4:57 of the second period.</p>
<p>The Stars originally jumped in front with a pair of first period power play goals.</p>
<p>Garret Raboin beat Stalock between the pads for the first goal of the night at 7:57 of the first.</p>
<p>Erik Condra shoveled the puck home from the doorstep to make it 2-0 at the 15:06 mark of the opening period.</p>
