RoughRiders Coach's Show with Mark Carlson Returns Next Wednesday on AM-1360 The Fan
<p>February 3, 2005-The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders' Coach's Show with Mark Carlson returns to the airwaves next Wednesday evening at 6:00PM on AM-1360 The Fan. The half hour show will be broadcast each week for the remainder of the RoughRiders' season.</p>
<p>The first two editions of the coach's show will air on Wednesday nights before the show shifts to Tuesday nights beginning on February 22. </p>
<p>RoughRiders coach and general manager Mark Carlson and RoughRiders radio broadcaster Brian Lavelle will be joined by RoughRiders players each week for the remainder of the regular season.</p>
<p>"We're very excited to be back on AM-1360 The Fan with the RoughRiders Coach's Show with Mark Carlson," said RoughRiders Vice President of Operations Jim Calpin. "The Coach's Show is the perfect way for RoughRider fans to keep up with all the latest Rider news and catch Coach Carlson's thoughts on the team."</p>
<p>AM-1360 The Fan is in its second season as the radio home of the RoughRiders. A Fox Sports Radio affiliate, AM-1360 The Fan carries all RoughRiders regular season and playoff games.</p>
<p>The league-leading RoughRiders (29-5-4, 62 points) return to action with a pair of games this week. The Riders will visit the Des Moines Buccaneers tomorrow night before returning home to meet the arch rival Waterloo Black Hawks Saturday evening at 7:05.</p>
<p>The Riders, who lead the Omaha Lancers by three points in the race for first place overall in the United States Hockey League, have gone 13-2-1 in their last 16 games and 22-2-3 in their last 27 outings.</p>
<p>Tickets for Saturday's game and all remaining RoughRiders home dates are now on sale at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or in person at the ice arena. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $8.00 to $17.00 including a 50-cent facility fee. </p> |
