The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are unbeaten in regulation (4-0-1) in their last five games and remain atop the United States Hockey League’s East Division. The Riders earned three of a possible four points from a pair of home games last weekend. The Riders picked up one point for a 5-4 shootout loss to Lincoln Friday. The Riders bounced back with a convincing 5-1 win over Tri-City Saturday.

J.J. Koehler converted the deciding penalty shot to give the Lincoln Stars a wild 5-4 shootout win over the host RoughRiders Saturday night. The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders won three straight games last week to tighten their grip on first place in the United States Hockey League’s East Division. The Riders defeated the Indiana Ice 5-4 last Tuesday in Indianapolis, dropped the Des Moines Buccaneers 7-4 last Friday in Urbandale and drubbed the Green Bay Gamblers 6-0 Saturday evening on home ice.
