The RoughRiders split a pair of home games last weekend. The Riders shut out the Green Bay Gamblers 5-0 last Friday and suffered a 4-1 loss to the Indiana Ice last Saturday.

A 3-2 loss to Chicago last Saturday ended the RoughRiders’ six game (4-0-2) unbeaten streak. Last Saturday’s game was the Riders’ third in four nights. The Riders started the week by earning one point for a 3-2 shootout loss in Sioux Falls last Wednesday. The Riders moved into a tie with Des Moines atop the United States Hockey League’s East Division by shutting out the Bucs 3-0 last Friday in Urbandale.

The RoughRiders went 0-2-1 in their first three games after the United States Hockey League’s holiday break. The Riders returned to action with a 3-2 home loss to Green Bay last Thursday. The following evening the Riders fell 4-3 in overtime in Lincoln. The Riders suffered a 4-1 loss to the Omaha Lancers Sunday in Council Bluffs.
